The objective of this project was to compose a piece of physical artwork that spoke to us personally using watercolour as a base.
The mediums/tools used for this were watercolour paint, salt, black paper marker, sharpie, fine tip pen and a popsicle stick.
The process of making this analog piece was to first sketch out the idea we had for what would go over the watercolour.
The sketch would go through many revision phases then it would be put to a miniature version of the final watercolour
The end result was on large watercolour paper and the character was drawn overtop with marker. To add finishing touches, red paint was sprinkled over the whole piece to tie it together and shadows were added under the character in pencil for more depth.
